Met Rem Koolhaas and his daughter Charlie, he invited us to OMA office in Rotterdam on the other day. He introduced several ongoing projects of both OMA and AMO to us and ask for our feedbacks. He seemed less concerned about his friend, Ian Buruma’s criticise on his CCTV project in China. Buruma’s criticise is typical western view toward China (human rights, freedom speech, …etc) but was more interested to hear what we think about his CCTV project. Since the time was limited and we couldn’t stay till the end of the presentation in OMA. Rem said he will be in Beijing in the Mid. of July and proposed to have dinner together and discuss more about architecture issues. We will looking forward to meeting him again soon in Beijing.
